SEPT 14th, WEDNESDAY – 2022-2023 ENROLLMENT OPEN – Due to our unparalleled success in the youth leadership/service-learning arena, leading to an unprecedented number of student scholarships and tuition discounts, MTJAVA can NO LONGER have “Year-Round” enrollment but will remain FREE for all students accepted. MTJAVA will begin limiting student enrollment per school (Benson, Central, NorthWest, South High Schools, Monroe & King Science Middle Schools) to ensure adequate staffing and student services for participants and incoming Middle Schoolers. Student enrollment opens on the 14th for incoming Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors (limited Freshmen and Juniors).  *Enrollment Applications can be completed online or requested at INFORMATION@MTJAVA.org.

SEPT 30th, FRIDAY – 2022-23 ENROLLMENT CLOSES – Student enrollment applications MUST be received no later than the 29th unless prior arrangements have been made with MTJAVA staff at Information@MTJAVA.org *(If openings become available after enrollment period, they will only be made available at your student’s school after October 1st)

November 1st, TUESDAY – Volunteer Service-Learning Day – MTJAVA student Volunteer Service-Learning Day (VSL), parents and friends are invited to join us as we volunteer and help make a difference throughout the Omaha area.

FEBRUARY 1st – April 1st 2023 – School Year 2023-24 Enrollment Opens

FEBRUARY 3rd, FRIDAY – College Tour Day – No School. Out of state college tour to KU or SD (TBD by student body)

FEBRUARY 21th, MONDAY – Boys Becoming Men Program Launch – Last day for 7th and 8th grade male student enrollment form returns is February 14th *All program enrollment forms are due back to school advisor/social worker/counselor on or before February 14th* This program in only available to male students at King Science Middle School and Monroe Middle School

March 15th through 19th – CIVICS Tour– Students will visit National & Historical landmarks, meet with member Congress/Senate members, and explore issues/opportunities facing citizens and the nation while visiting Philadelphia, PA. *Free and for students who have met assigned attendance and service goals.

APRIL 14th, FRIDAY – College Tour– Out of state college tour to TBD

May 13th, SATURDAY – End of Year Celebration & Student Awards – More Info to Come!!
